The variety is a diploid Italian ryegrass with early heading dates. The plant is characterized by vigorous spring growth and stable dry matter yield during the first and second years of use.
The variety possesses high resistance to crown rust and powdery mildew, as well as good winter hardiness. It has an open habit with a moderate number of tillers, making it preferred for regular mowing and silage or grass biomass production.
It is used in grass mixtures, including combinations with legumes, and can also be used as a cover crop.
