The variety is tetraploid (4x). It is distinguished by high resistance to diseases, in particular to crown rust, and demonstrates stable performance in multi-location trials.

As a high-yielding forage crop, the variety is characterized by large leaves, good palatability, and increased sugar content. The plant grows rapidly and regrows intensively after mowing, while requiring high soil fertility and sufficient moisture levels.
