The fruit of this variety is characterized by a shape similar to the Appiola variety but differs in its slightly larger size. The primary skin color is light-green with a distinct red tiger-stripe pattern radiating from the apex. The flesh is yellowish in color, and the taste is less tart and acidic compared to the parent form.
The variety is classified as late, with fruit ripening occurring in early October. The fruit possesses good keeping quality and can be stored until the beginning of March. Yield is stable. Genetic studies note the existence of both diploid and polyploid forms of this variety.
