The fruits of this variety are small in size, with smooth, shiny yellow-green skin with a pink or red blush. Five pronounced ribs give the apples a distinct star shape. The flesh is firm, crisp, and juicy, possessing a sweet-and-sour taste.

This is a late winter variety, with the harvest taking place in the second half of October. The fruits are characterized by high keeping quality, lasting until June–July. The tree shows medium resistance to scab; winter hardiness is estimated as medium or high.
