The variety has a vigorous tree with a robust crown. The fruits are very large, round-conical in shape. The skin is smooth and thin, turning light yellow when ripe with pronounced carmine-red stripes or a blush. The flesh is white, loose and juicy, possessing a wine-sweet taste with a spicy aroma.

It belongs to autumn or autumn-winter varieties. Harvest maturity occurs in September-October, the fruits store until December or February. The variety is of universal use, suitable for fresh consumption and processing. It is prone to alternate bearing; on heavy wet soils it is susceptible to cancer, and in damp weather — to fruit rot.
