The tree is vigorous, reaching 5–6 meters in height and having a broadly rounded, sparse crown. The fruits are large, weighing 200–260 g, with individual specimens reaching 500–900 g. The skin is firm, yellow-green with a bright red blush and a waxy bloom. The flesh is greenish-white, tender, and sweet-tart.
The variety is classified as early-winter, with fruit harvest maturity in the middle latitudes occurring in the second ten-day period of September. The fruits are suitable for storage until January–February. The variety possesses moderate winter hardiness (down to –29°С) and average resistance to diseases, particularly scab. Fruiting is irregular, often occurring biennially.
