The tree is distinguished by high growth vigor. The fruits have the ribbed, conical or high-conical shape characteristic of the Calville group, often uneven. The fruit skin is blood-red in color or covered with an intense red blush.

The flesh is white, sometimes with a slightly pinkish hue, tender, melting and moderately juicy, with a strong aroma and low acid content. The variety is productive and well-adapted to cultivation in mountainous conditions at altitudes of up to 1000–1200 meters.

The variety is used as a dessert and culinary apple, suitable for making puree, tarts and cider production. Currently, it is rarely encountered, mainly in genetic resource collections, which is associated with historical confusion in names with other varieties of the Calville group.
