The tree has vigorous to medium growth with a pyramidal or upright crown and bears fruit on spurs. The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators. Fruits are medium to large in size, round-conical flattened in shape with pronounced ribbing, and have thin lemon-yellow skin, sometimes with a blush.

Fruit flesh is greenish-white, firm, juicy, with a sweet-and-sour taste. The variety matures in October-November and retains its consumer qualities until spring. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and culinary use, as they maintain their shape well during heat treatment. In literature, the variety is associated with the synonym London Pippin.
