The tree is vigorous, fruiting on spurs. The fruits are medium to large in size, flattened-conical, with pronounced ribbing. The skin is thin, ranging from light green to yellow in color, sometimes with a light blush. The flesh is bright white, juicy, and tender, with a sweet-and-sour taste and a characteristic aroma.

The variety is late-winter: fruit harvest takes place in the second half of October, and consumer maturity is reached in December. The apple tree is not self-fertile and requires pollinator varieties. Resistance to diseases is assessed as mixed; winter hardiness is above average.

The fruits are distinguished by their universal use, store well, and transport well. They are considered some of the best for culinary use, as they retain their shape during heat treatment in pies, tarts, and baking. They are also suitable for fresh consumption, and for making juice and cider.
