The tree is vigorous and has above-average winter hardiness. It is resistant to scab but susceptible to powdery mildew. The variety is demanding of growing conditions, climate, and soil to exhibit its characteristic taste qualities.

Fruits are large, ribbed, and conical in shape. The skin is smooth, light green, turning yellow upon ripening, sometimes with a blush. The flesh is white, with a sweet-and-sour dessert taste and a banana aroma. The fruits store well, becoming covered in natural wax, and retain their shape during heat treatment.
