Variety description

The fruits are round or round-conical in shape, sometimes slightly flattened. The skin is green, turning yellow upon ripening, with a purple-red blush on the sunny side and scattered corky lenticels. The yellowish flesh is firm, fine-grained, and crisp.

The tree is moderately vigorous with an upright crown in its youth, becoming weeping with age. The variety enters bearing late, is diploid and self-incompatible, requires cross-pollination, and performs poorly on dwarfing rootstocks. Young trees are susceptible to canker.

The harvest is collected late. The fruits are suitable for fresh consumption and culinary use, retaining their shape during heat treatment. The storage life in cold rooms is up to four months.
