The tree is characterized as vigorous. The fruits are large, of irregular, often flattened conical shape with pronounced ribbing, which intensifies around the calyx. The thin skin changes color from pale green to golden yellow upon ripening and sometimes acquires a slight crimson blush.

The creamy-white flesh has a delicate texture, juiciness, high vitamin C content, and a sweet-sour taste with a banana undertone. The variety is a winter one; harvesting is carried out in late September — October, and consumer maturity of the fruits is reached by December.

The variety is demanding of agricultural techniques and soil conditions; it exhibits resistance to scab but can be affected by powdery mildew. Yields can be biennial, and fruits are prone to dropping if not harvested in time. The fruits are valued as dessert and culinary apples, as they retain their shape well during heat treatment.
