The variety is a clonal mutation of the classic Cox Orange apple. The main distinguishing feature of the Korallo form is a brighter and more intense red skin coloration compared to the parent variety.

The fruits are of medium or small size and spherical shape. Characteristic features of the skin are its thinness and roughness. The fruit flesh is firm, juicy, has a pronounced aroma, and is yellow in color.

Biological features and growth requirements of this variety are inherited from the parent form Cox Orange. Detailed quantitative characteristics of disease resistance and agrotechnical parameters specifically for the Korallo mutant are not highlighted in publications.
