The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and a spreading branch habit. Flowering occurs in mid-season; cross-pollinators are required to obtain a yield. Annual thinning of fruitlets is recommended to maintain fruit size.

The fruits are small, flattened-round, and bright red in color. In terms of taste, they are juicy, aromatic, and have a tartness. Harvesting takes place from mid-September to early November. The variety is prone to fruit drop in July and is intended for fresh consumption.
