The fruits are characterized by yellow-orange or yellow-red skin and white flesh. The taste of the fruits is described as sweet-and-sour, with a pronounced spicy aroma. The variety is intended for fresh consumption.

The ripening period varies from October–December to October–February. Fertile, permeable soils and good lighting are required for cultivation. Cross-pollination requires pollinator varieties such as "Alkmene", "Elstar" or "James Grieve".
