The tree is characterized by vigorous growth at a young age, which later changes to moderate. The crown is prone to strong branching and requires regular thinning. The variety is winter hardy, however, it is sensitive to frosts during the flowering period and can be affected by canker, scab and powdery mildew on unfavorable soils.

Fruits are of medium or large size, weighing about 100–125 g, of conical uneven shape. The ground color is yellow with a bright carmine or dark red overcolor, often with stripes. The flesh is greenish-white, juicy, with a wine-acid taste. The harvest is picked in October, fruits are stored until March.
