The variety is a vigorous tree 4 to 6 meters tall with a crown shape ranging from bushy to pyramidal. Harvesting maturity of the fruits occurs from mid to late October, consumer maturity from November to March. To obtain a stable yield, pollinator varieties such as Cox Orange, Golden Delicious or Ingrid Marie are required.

Fruits are medium-sized with a weight of 100–125 g, having a conical or flattened shape with five pronounced ribs. The ground color of the skin is yellow or yellow-green, the overcolor ranges from carmine-red to dark red with stripes. The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, with a spicy sweet-and-sour taste.

The variety prefers warm or moderate conditions, as in cold and wet climates the fruits color poorly and lose their taste qualities. The tree is sensitive to frost, as well as to scab and canker in unfavorable areas. The apples are used as a table variety and for processing into juices, cider, purée and baking.
