The tree is moderately vigorous and has a spreading, compact crown. The variety is a spur type, forming fruit buds on short shoots. The plant is partially self-fertile and serves as a good pollinator for other apple varieties.

Fruits are medium to large in size, ribbed, with smooth skin that changes color from light green to yellowish-green upon ripening. The flesh is white, firm, juicy, fine-grained, with a pronounced acidic taste. The shelf life of the fruits is no more than two weeks.

The variety possesses resistance to scab, powdery mildew, canker, and frost, and tolerates moist soils well. The primary use of the fruits is culinary processing, particularly for making apple sauces and jams, as the slices quickly lose their shape during thermal treatment.
