Gravillan is a local Spanish variety preserved in the CIAM gene bank. The plant is a diploid, self-fertile variety exhibiting resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses, which allows for its use in organic farming.

Fruits ripen in October and are characterized by yellow-green skin with a red blush. The variety possesses the ability for long-term storage at moderate temperatures until spring and is traditionally used for cider production.

In scientific research, the variety is used as an object for testing the effectiveness of growth regulators in in vitro micropropagation.
