The tree is vigorous, forms a spreading crown, and requires significant space. It is a summer maturity variety; the crop is harvested from late August to mid-September. A tendency towards alternate bearing is noted.

Fruits often have an irregular, ribbed shape. The skin is smooth, yellow with red stripes when ripe. The flesh is yellowish, tender, and crisp. The variety is versatile in use, suitable for fresh consumption, culinary use, and processing; however, the fruits do not withstand transportation well.

The variety is demanding in care and has high susceptibility to scab, powdery mildew, and fruit tree canker.
