The tree is vigorous, has a robust branch structure and a spreading crown. Flowering occurs very early. The variety is triploid, therefore it does not act as a pollinator and requires the presence of other pollinator varieties for fruiting.

The fruits are medium to large in size, oblong-round, often asymmetrical, with ribbing at the apex. The skin is thin, waxy, greenish-yellow in color with red stripes or a blush. The flesh is yellowish, tender and juicy.

The variety is demanding of growing conditions, prefers moderately moist loamy soils, poorly tolerates areas with a high water table and requires protection from winds. Moderately susceptible to scab and powdery mildew, prone to certain viral diseases.

The harvest is collected from the end of August to mid-September. The fruits are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, culinary purposes, production of juices and cider. There are various clones and mutations of the variety, differing in the intensity of fruit coloration.
