The variety belongs to summer apple trees; the harvest maturity of the fruits occurs at the end of August, and the consumption period lasts from September to November. The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a large spreading crown. The variety is demanding of climate humidity and soil quality, prone to biennial bearing, and sensitive to spring frosts due to early flowering.

The fruits are medium to large in size and often have a ribbed shape. The skin acquires a yellow color with red stripes or spots upon ripening. The white juicy flesh possesses a pronounced aroma and a sweet-and-sour taste. Due to the high sensitivity of the fruits to mechanical damage and poor storage, the variety is used more often in amateur and collection gardening for fresh consumption or processing.
