The variety ripens in November and is suitable for storage until March. The fruits have greenish-yellow skin with red stripes and possess an aromatic taste with slight acidity. In some regions, it is known by the folk name Red Hare's Head.

The plant is characterized by high winter hardiness, low soil requirements, and resistance to diseases and pests. The variety is not self-fertile and requires the presence of pollinators, such as Ananasrenette, James Grieve, Elstar, Berlepsch, or Golden Pearmain.
