The tree has an upright, spreading crown and forms fruit primarily on spurs. The variety is early-ripening; the harvest is collected in late August or September.

The fruits are medium to large in size, elongated-conical, often with pronounced ribbing. The skin is smooth, waxy, pale green or light yellow in color, sometimes with a slight golden or orange blush.

The flesh is yellowish-white, juicy, soft, but coarse in texture, with a tart, refreshing taste that becomes sweeter as it ripens. The fruits tend to cook down quickly when heat-treated and have a short shelf life of up to one month.

The variety is relatively resistant to scab but can be affected by canker and pests. It requires regular pruning to maintain health and crown shape.
