The variety is triploid and characterized by vigorous tree growth with the formation of a rounded, and with age, more flattened and sparse crown. The tree is prone to vertical branching, which requires special pruning to prevent bareness. Fruiting is often biennial but abundant; the variety is winter hardy and prefers deep, light soils. Recommended pollinators are the varieties «Золотой зимний Пармен» and «Джонатан».

The medium-sized fruits have a characteristic flattened, disc-like shape. The ground color of the skin is yellow with a reddish or wine-colored blush. The flesh is light yellow, juicy, and has a sweet-and-sour taste. The apples ripen in the first half of October, after which they require a storage period to improve their flavor. Under proper conditions, the fruits can be kept until May.
