Variety description

The variety is a spontaneous mutant of the Braeburn variety. The tree has weak to medium vigor and is easy to train. The flowering period is close to the Granny Smith variety, and the harvest begins 1–5 weeks after the main Braeburn variety.

The fruits have a short-conical, asymmetric, ribbed shape and are medium-sized. The surface is almost completely covered with a dark red blush and stripes. The firm white flesh has a sweet taste with a characteristic acidic note.

The variety is distinguished by high productivity and is easy to thin. It has medium susceptibility to scab and is sensitive to bitter pit if the tree is under-cropped. The fruits have excellent keeping quality, maintaining their quality until March in standard refrigerators and until June in a controlled atmosphere.
