The medium-sized tree has an upright crown that becomes spreading with age. The fruits are medium-sized and have a flat-round shape. The primary yellow-green color of the fruit is almost completely covered by a red or purple blush with numerous light-colored star-shaped specks.

The fruit flesh is light yellow, fine-grained, firm and juicy, possessing a wine-sweet flavor with spicy notes. Harvest occurs from late September to early October; the storage life of the fruits is about two months.

The variety is self-incompatible and requires pollinators. Young trees begin to bear fruit in the 4–6th year, and the variety is prone to alternate bearing. The tree is moderately resistant to scab and powdery mildew, well-adapted to moist soils, but sensitive to strong winds.
