The tree is vigorous, forms a wide crown, and is noted for its longevity. Fruits reach harvest maturity in October; yield is characterized as biennial.

Fruits are blunted-spherical in shape, pale yellow in color with a dense grey-brown russet netting, sometimes with a dull blush. The flesh is greenish-yellow, juicy, with a sweet taste with slight acidity and spicy notes.

The variety has low susceptibility to scab and canker. On dry soils, fruits are prone to becoming smaller, cracking, and dropping. It is used as a high-quality dessert variety that tolerates transport well.
