Variety description

The variety belongs to the category of folk selection. Late-ripening, harvesting is carried out in October; the fruits are suitable for consumption from December to May.

The fruits are large, with smooth, shiny, green skin that yellows upon ripening, sometimes with a red blush. A characteristic feature is numerous yellowish-brown star-shaped lenticels. The flesh is yellow, sweet, with little aroma, not very dense texture, and without pronounced acidity.

The variety is adapted to the local conditions of the Cévennes region, cultivated mainly in private collections and conservation orchards for the purpose of preserving biodiversity.
