The variety belongs to the group of resistant "Re-varieties" bred by the Institute of Fruit Research in Dresden-Pillnitz, obtained from crossing the varieties Clivia and BX 44,2. The tree has weak to medium vigor and a compact canopy with a broad shape.

The fruits reach harvest maturity in mid-September and are suitable for storage until November. They are round in shape, medium to small in size, with a thick skin, and juicy, sweet flesh with a slight acidity.

The plant possesses genetic resistance to scab, as well as resistance to fire blight and spider mites. The variety shows moderate susceptibility to powdery mildew.
