The variety belongs to a group of hybrids obtained as a result of the breeding program of the Institute for Fruit Research in Dresden-Pillnitz. The creation of the variety was based on the use of scab resistance donors carrying the Vr gene, originating from Malus pumila.

The fruits of the variety are characterized by a relatively small size. During variety trials, an increased susceptibility to powdery mildew was noted compared to other representatives of this breeding series, as well as a short shelf life of the fruits.
