The Reinette Harbert tree is characterized by vigorous growth and the formation of a wide, rounded crown, which allows it to be grown as a standard or semi-standard form. The variety is triploid and self-sterile, therefore it requires other varieties for pollination, with the onset of fruiting occurring after several years.

The fruits have a broad, round-conical shape and can be asymmetrical or flattened. The skin, yellow-green at harvest, turns a golden-yellow hue with a marbled blush on the sunny side. The yellowish-white flesh of the fruits has a juicy, crisp, and fine-grained structure.

The variety belongs to the late-summer or autumn group; the crop is harvested from the beginning or middle of October. The fruits are versatile in use: suitable for fresh consumption, culinary purposes, and juice production. The plant is capable of growing in cool regions but is sensitive to severe winter frosts and prone to biennial bearing.
