The tree is vigorous, reaching 3–8 meters in height depending on conditions and rootstock. The variety is demanding of soil fertility and moisture, preferring wind-sheltered locations. It is self-sterile and requires pollinator varieties.

Fruits are medium to large in size, of round-flattened, irregular shape. The flesh is firm, juicy, white in color with a sweet-and-sour taste. The variety ripens in October, fruits are suitable for storage until March and are valued for retaining their shape during heat treatment.

The plant possesses strong wood that does not require branch supports. The variety exhibits relative hardiness; however, under adverse conditions, susceptibility to scab, powdery mildew, and European canker is possible.
