The tree is vigorous, forms a broad-pyramidal, spreading crown, and can reach 4–6 meters in height. Fruits are round, slightly flattened, with yellow-green coloring and an intense dark red or purple blush. The flesh is yellowish-white, firm, and fine-grained, with a sweet-sour taste.

The variety is a winter type; fruits reach harvest maturity in September–October and consumption maturity from November to February. Good resistance to scab and powdery mildew is noted, while the variety is susceptible to fire blight and bitter pit. Yield is subject to biennial bearing, and fruits are prone to dropping in strong winds.

To obtain regular yields, the presence of pollinator varieties is necessary as this variety is self-sterile. Apples are used primarily for fresh consumption as well as for processing.
