The tree forms a medium-sized, high-rounded crown. Growth is vigorous at a young age, slowing down with age. The variety is considered undemanding to soil and climatic conditions and is suitable for cultivation in difficult locations.
Fruits are small or medium-sized, spherical in shape. The ground color is light yellow with a bright red or dark red overcolor blush and often with a bluish bloom. The flesh is yellowish-white, often red under the skin, juicy, and has a sour taste. When overripe, the fruits quickly become mealy; the storage period is 2–3 weeks.
The variety is used as a table variety for fresh consumption, as well as a good pollinator for other apple trees. Susceptibility to scab, canker, and tip rot is noted.
