Trees have medium-strong or strong growth and a wide crown. Productivity is medium or high, with a pronounced tendency towards biennial bearing. The variety enters the fruiting period at a medium-late time.

Fruits are large, often of irregular shape. The ground color is yellow, the overcolor is a red or dark red blush covering 60–80% of the surface. The flesh is firm, creamy, with a sweet-and-sour taste and pronounced astringency and aroma.

Harvest maturity occurs in the first half of October, consumer maturity from December to March-April. The fruits are characterized by good keeping quality. The variety is susceptible to scab and bark diseases, and is sensitive to copper-containing preparations and sulfur.

Used as a dessert apple, but is primarily in demand in cooking for baking, juice production, and various types of processing.
