The variety is a bud mutation of Golden Delicious, belonging to the spur type, which is characterized by shortened internodes and fruiting on spurs. The trees are medium-sized with moderate annual growth.

The fruits are of winter maturity, oblong-conical or round-conical in shape. The color changes from greenish-yellow to pure yellow. The flesh is firm and juicy, with a sweet taste and minimal acidity. The fruits are characterized by good keeping quality, maintaining their marketability until mid-May.

The variety is characterized by regular bearing and high disease resistance. Winter hardiness is estimated as medium or low; there is a risk of branch damage from sunscald, therefore the use of winter-hardy framework stocks is recommended.
