The tree is of medium size, with moderately vigorous growth, a spreading crown, and drooping branches. Fruits are medium to large in size, round-conical in shape, with pronounced ribbing and asymmetry. The thin skin changes color from pale greenish-yellow to yellow-white upon ripening.

The flesh is white, delicate, and juicy, possessing a sweet-and-sour taste. When overripe, it quickly becomes loose and mealy. The variety has poor keeping quality and is easily damaged during transport. It requires fruit thinning to maintain yield and prevent alternate bearing.

The variety has good resistance to scab, but is susceptible to Nectria canker and fire blight. The variety is a chance seedling and is known by the synonyms «Папировка», «Белый налив», «White Transparent», «Weisser Klarapfel», «Glass Apple».
