The Cepiland rootstock is a clonal selection of Paradis Jaune de Metz (M9). In terms of vigor, this clone exceeds the standard M9 T337 rootstock by 15–40%. Trees grafted onto this rootstock enter the fruiting phase quickly and demonstrate high yields with good uniformity and fruit size.

Due to its dwarfing nature and high productivity, trees on this rootstock require the mandatory installation of trellises and the organization of an irrigation system. The plant propagates well and possesses resistance to replant disease, however, it is highly susceptible to root asphyxia under waterlogged conditions.
