The variety is a traditional Swedish landrace. Genetic studies indicate that it acts as one of the parents of the widely known variety "White Transparent" (synonym — "Papirovka" or "Belyi Naliv").
The fruits have a characteristic feature in the form of red veins in the flesh. The variety is not intended for long-term storage; it is recommended to consume the fruits soon after harvest. Due to its taste qualities, the variety is more often used for processing, for example, for juice or mousse; sometimes it is characterized as an ornamental apple tree.
