The tree is characterized by vigorous growth and forms a broad-pyramidal crown with drooping and densely branched limbs. The variety has been used as a parent line in breeding programs.
Fruits are small to medium, weighing about 110 g, and are flat-round in shape. The skin is smooth, dry, yellow-green in color with an orange or reddish-orange blush and characteristic russeting around the stem. The flesh is yellowish-white, fine-grained, firm and juicy, and has a sweet-and-sour taste with a distinct aroma.
Harvest maturity occurs in mid-to-late October, and consumption maturity lasts from December to March. The fruits are sensitive to pressure. The variety is susceptible to powdery mildew but shows less sensitivity to scab.
