The rootstock belongs to the dwarf group. Trees grafted onto it enter fruiting in the 3–4th year after planting. Due to the characteristics of the root system and limited vigor, trees require mandatory support installation throughout their entire life, as they possess insufficient resistance to lodging.
This rootstock was obtained as a result of crossing M-8 and Krasny Standart. Its main purpose is the establishment of intensive orchards, as well as use as an interstock to restrict the growth of vigorous apple varieties.
