The variety was developed by specialists at the Sumy Horticultural Experiment Station. Its origin is linked to Paradizka poltavska and hybrids bred by the I. V. Michurin Fruit and Vegetable Institute, and its genetic formula includes the cross (IS 1-9 x IS 2-7).
The rootstock is characterized as semi-dwarf and possesses intermediate indicators of leaf water-holding capacity during dehydration. The variety ensures good graft take and quality of nursery trees, serving as promising breeding material.
