The CIVP21 rootstock is a clonal form for grafting apple (Malus domestica). In terms of its vigor, this rootstock is comparable to the well-known M26 rootstock.
During studies conducted in the sandy soil conditions of Northern Italy, the rootstock demonstrated a certain degree of susceptibility to drought conditions, which affected the productivity of trees grafted onto it.
