The Julka variety tree is compact and low-vigor, reaching a height of 2–2.5 m when using appropriate rootstocks. The fruit ripening period begins in late July, with apples capable of maintaining firmness and freshness on branches for three weeks after the start of ripening.
Fruits are of medium size and round shape. As they ripen, the color changes from light pink to dark red; the flesh is firm, juicy, and fine-grained. The variety possesses genetic resistance to scab, is tolerant to powdery mildew, and exhibits resistance to fire blight.
