Trees grafted onto K 104 rootstock form a compact canopy and occupy an intermediate position in vigor between M 9 and MM 106. The rootstock is characterized by a well-developed root system, which makes it promising for use in orchards without trellis support.
Trees grafted onto this rootstock enter fruiting in the 2nd–3rd year after planting, providing stable productivity within 24.4–30.6 t/ha. The culture possesses good adaptation to the soil and climatic conditions of Crimea and contributes to obtaining fruits with high compositional quality.
