The variety is low-vigor: the tree crown volume is approximately 54% less than that of the most vigorous varieties used in comparative trials. The trees are characterized by high precocity and yield.

The plant possesses complete genetic resistance to apple scab (Venturia inaequalis). The variety was developed to reduce the need for chemical disease protection and is suitable for use in organic horticulture.
