The plant is a dwarf form of Sargent crabapple, reaching a height of 1.2–1.5 m. The crown is dense, spreading, with horizontally positioned branches. In May, the tree is covered with fragrant white flowers that bloom from bright red buds.
Small fruits with a diameter of about 1 cm ripen in autumn and often remain on the branches until the beginning of winter. The variety has high winter hardiness (USDA zone 4–8) and pronounced resistance to diseases such as scab, powdery mildew, rust and fire blight.
