The tree is slow-growing, reaching a height of 4.5–6 meters with a crown width of 2.5–4 meters. The young crown has a narrow, almost columnar shape, becoming more spreading with age. Leaves are elliptical or ovate, dark green and glossy, turning golden-yellow or reddish tones in autumn.
Flowering occurs in May. Large semi-double or double flowers of a light pink shade grow from deep pink buds and have a light fragrance. Fruits are small, 1.2–2 cm in diameter, yellow-orange or reddish in color, ripening in the second half of summer.
The variety is winter-hardy (hardiness zone 4–8), prefers sunny areas and fertile drained soils, exhibiting moderate drought tolerance. The plant has high susceptibility to apple scab and fire blight, which requires caution when pruning.
