The Dritta tree has moderate vigor and a spreading crown. The fruits of the variety are medium to large in size and have an oval shape with a pointed tip. Characteristic features include low fruit detachment force, which facilitates the process of mechanized harvesting.

The variety is intended for the production of Extra Virgin olive oil. The resulting product is characterized by medium fruity notes with aromas of green almond, grass, and artichoke leaves, as well as a balanced taste with slight bitterness and pungency.

The plant has good resistance to drought and strong winds, while being sensitive to excessive moisture. The variety is an ancient local cultivar adapted to the climatic conditions of the Abruzzo region.
